Hansen A. Mansy, PhD, Chief Scientist:
Dr. Mansy has lead product development with over 17 years of experience in biomedical acoustics and over 25 years of experience in engineering, instrumentation, and R&D. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor of bioengineering at UIC, and of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at IIT where (for over 20 years) he has taught instrumentation, experimental design, digital data acquisition and processing, statistics, and design of electromechanical systems. He co-authored 30 scientific articles in the engineering literature and holds 12 patents in areas of the measurements, instrumentation and digital signal processing. He is an active scientific reviewer for bioengineering journals and federal funding agencies. He has recently joined the bioengineering faculty at University of Central Florida.
John DeFoggi – DBA, is focused on the regulatory compliance and product development efforts. He has over 30 years experience in medical device development and commercialization. Dr. DeFoggi has worked with medical device, pharmaceutical and biotech companies to discover, develop and commercialize medical devices globally. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing product development processes, usability testing, and product innovation, and product commercialization and launch.
Jim Hauert - MBA, is responsible for commercialization and business development. Mr. Hauert has successfully commercialized medical devices, biologics and injectables in markets throughout the world. A former Baxter Healthcare executive now focused on finding and marketing new technologies.
