While the company was formed in Florida in 2012, our research efforts began in 1990 with attention to gastrointestinal (GI) diseases, most specifically to the immediate diagnosis of intestinal obstruction. Over time, the research has since expanded to focus on GI perforation, delayed gastric emptying, pneumothorax (collapsed lung), endotracheal tube malposition detection, vascular graft integrity, cardiac conditions (especially the monitoring of congestive heart failure), and other projects. The scientific advances have been in the arenas of signal processing, cardiac monitoring, sensors, and modeling.
